IM Patient Warming Systems are our newest products designed using the state of the art technology and latest developments in carbon fiber technology and microprocessors by our Company’s Engineers.

Our products are mainly used against hypothermia in operation rooms, neonatal intensive care departments as well as maternity wards through stabilizing or raising the peripheral temperature of the patient carrying the risk of hypothermia effectively to provide a warm and comfortable environment.

To provide this warm and comfortable environment, there are three alternative methods as stated below:

 a)        A blanket over the patient

   b)        A mattress under the patient,

c)        By using both products together in cooler environments.

Our mattresses and blankets are made of carbon fiber and viscoelastic foam rubber surrounded by polyurethane coverings. These features increase the warming performance and provide the patient a soft and comfortable environment. Materials used for heat isolation assure that there is no energy loss during the process. Our products come in variety of sizes and models according to customer’s needs. We are also eager to fulfill order/product modifications and custom requests according to our clients’ requests.

Our products are completely sealed and water proofed against all liquids, and they are also easily cleanable. 

Our devices run at 24 volt, safe for both the patient and the operator. The temperature settings are managed through the controller unit and are automatically tested. These instructions are carried out by membrane switches. Power source and control is managed through the controller unit which is separate from the mattresses and blankets. This control unit also includes power and control cards.

The control unit is a single box which includes the microprocessor, power and control cards, power supply, transformer and other electronic parts. The control unit can also be installed on a flat surface or hanged through its’ handle or base. The incoming 220-240V AC electrical input is transformed into 24 VAC output and is passed on to the mattresses and blankets for warming via 350w transformer. The transformer inside control unit, whether it is 100-110VAC or 220-240VAC, is determined according to power network of related country.

On the front of the control unit there is a waterproof diaphragm panel. Although this varies according to the model, diaphragm includes on-off button, set button, mute button, and up-down button. This button’s tasks are given in detail in the operating information. In the display section of the control unit, set temperature and actual temperature is displayed in two separate indicators. The temperature settings are set between 30⁰ C – 39⁰ C for neonates and 30⁰C – 40⁰C for adults.

Temperature of patient heating devices, according to the type and size of the heating blanket, can approximately reaches from 23°C to 37°C in 5-7 minutes.

Control unit alarm system is supported by a battery and its charger. Alarm conditions; Power failure, high temperature, electronic malfunction, disconnection of the pad, and high temperature deviation alarm. Alarm is given as visual and audible. If Alarm Set/Reset button is pushed, alarm will stop for 2 minutes. If the problem continues after this temporary silence, alarm will be activated again.
